Press:

"Ruhe digs deep in search of a special moment, a kind of musical archaeology in action. You know he’s found it, because there isn’t a weak piece here."
- James Catchpole for Fluid Radio

"...a fragile, sepia-tinted world of sketches and vignettes centered around piano and voice bound together by gossamer ambient fabric... an autumnal dream that gives refuge far from the madding crowd."
- Stationary Travels

"Ruhe’s 'Patriarchs' is like a séance. Every tape is a winner, there’s not a note out of place on it. It’s both ambient and immersive...it is gentle and relaxing and it’s a very mature enterprise."
- Dr. Chris Dooks, Interdisciplinary Artist/Ambient Musician
